The Blackstone Valley Boys and Girls Club had an Ice Cream Sundae party for students in Middle School. Ice cream, hot fudge, whip cream and sprinkles were on the menu. After the sundea’s, the Club raffled off two brand new NBA basketballs. The students had a fun time and enjoyed playing an intense game of dodgeball after the ice cream party. The Club will have these ice cream parties once a month. Those that attend must become a member.

The Club will be hosting their third No Limits Hold ‘em Poker Tournament. This event takes place on Saturday, October 20, 2007. Doors open at 2:00PM. Walk-in Players are allowed, upon availability. There is a 2:30PM cut off to seating - NO EXCEPTIONS. The cost to play is a $100 donation with a 50% payout to the final table. Players must be paid in full to reserve seats. This can be done at the BVBGC office during office hours. So tell some friends and come on down to the Club where you can enjoy a fun day of playing your favorite sport and meet fellow poker players.
