Specialty Programs
The Blackstone Valley Boys & Girls Club hosts a series of non-sport programs each year.
Animate Your World: A computer program called Animate Your World, developed by Cartoon Network and distributed by Boys & Girls Clubs of America promotes the catchphrase “Get Animated”. This looks to support healthy lifestyles with proper exercise and diet with members creating their own cartoon to represent the message. Participating youth choose the backgrounds, characters and sounds - as well as record the voices for their characters - in the development of their cartoon.
Robotics: A hands-on technology class where members build and program their own robots using Legos. This program is sponsored by Ratheon. Instruction is provided.
